You can rig your boat and leave it there where it says “No Parking”. If you are staying in the LakeSide Inn and have a tender powerboat, you can park it across the street in the boat parking spaces even though it says “No overnight boat parking”. We are ‘gearing’ up for an incredible weekend in Clear Lake. Gearheads from across the Midwest will flock to our beautiful lake community for the annual CLASS Car Cruise and Show.

What began as an idea for a car club in Clear Lake in the early 1980s has grown to become one of the most anticipated shows in the North Iowa area. The event has expanded year have year, as car aficionados come from far and wide to participate in the incredible experience. Hundreds of cars will cruise around the lake on Friday night, capping the evening off with music and dancing with Flash Cadillac at the Surf Ballroom. As always, we like to do it up big here in Clear Lake. Thursdays on Main is just the beginning of a fun-filled weekend. On Friday, the streets will be lined with people to watch the annual Car Cruise around the lake.

We want to be sure our club does not get into any hot water. For those boats launching from their trailers each day at the yacht club, we will have two ATVs to assist with launching. You should NOT bring your own vehicle into the ramp area.

A vendor map layout will be emailed each week with their designated number and location. It is the vendor’s responsibility to check their location EACH WEEK, as circumstances arise to adjust spots. Electricity is limited and only available near City Park. Vendors must communicate with Event staff if this is needed.
The Event staff and Board of Directors have the right to refuse any vendor that provides products or services that do not fit the criteria or meet the needs of the expected attendees. In the meantime – Render assistance, monitor and administer first aid, call Event Safety Officer or PRO, send someone to meet emergency vehicles if needed. This regatta is about a week away and the Clear Lake Yacht Club is excited to host this event. The organizing committee has been planning this event for nearly a year and we are excited it is almost here. Add your social media links and bio and promote your discounts, menus, events. Proceeds from the events will be divided between local organizations decided by C.L.A.S.S. after bills are paid at the end of the year.

Vendor applications are subject to review and approval; submission of an application does not guarantee participation. You will only receive correspondence if your application is NOT approved, at which your application will be refunded. Spectator Boats will be available at the yacht club approximately 45 minutes prior to the scheduled warning.
